Terms of entry for the Global Cement Magazine Photography Competition
Each individual may enter up to five photographs for the competition. Send the following information:
-- Photographer's name, company and contact details (email, postal address);
For each photograph:
-- Location of the subject;
-- Any additional information that might be of interest about the subject of the photo.
Although we imagine that cement and lime plants will be popular, any cement- and lime-related subject - people, architecture, wildlife - is eligible for entry. Technical prowess and the attractiveness of the final image will used to decide upon the winner. Upright ('portrait') and 'landscape' format photos are equally valid.
Entry is simple and free: Please send your entry (digital only, JPG format) by email to rob@propubs.com. The subject line must be as follows: 'Global Cement Photo Competition' (otherwise it risks being junked by our spam filters!). Individual image files must be above 500kb but must be below 5Mb each in compressed size. Each entry is acknowledged by email.
Rules and conditions
You MUST have copyright of all entries - you must have pushed the button yourself and have all relevant permissions. Copyright of the photos remains with the photographer.
By entering the competition, the photographer allows the reproduction of the image by Pro Global Media Ltd (and related companies) in its magazines, and in other media, without charge, in perpetuity.
The winner of the competition will be awarded a cash prize of US$250. The second placed image will be awarded a prize of US$125. Runners-up will have their images included in the magazine in a special portfolio article.
