The geotechnical seismic characterization of the ground is a fundamental step for the soil-structure dynamic interaction. Among the several methods available for the seismic characterization of the soils the geophysical methods are very promising since they allow to measure directly on site the soil parameters, also saving time and money with respect to other methods. In recent years MASW, ReMi, ESAC and HVSR are new methods, that can be seen as complementary to generate the more eliable geotechnical and seismic model. In this article some real applications of the above mentioned methods will be presented.
