US NEWS ha pubblicato la classifica delle facoltà di ingegneria nel mondo in base a 3 fattori: Academic Reputation Score, Employer Reputation Score e Citations per Paper Score.

Il MIT conferma la sua fama e si classifica al primo posto, distanziando di oltre due punti Stanford. Da notare però che il MIT vince grazie alla reputazione accademica, perchè nelle pubblicazioni sarebbe terza a parimerito, e molto più indietro nel secondo fattore.

Secondo il sito ingelse http://www.timeshighereducation.co.uk la classifica delle "Top 100 universities for engineering and technology 2013-2014" non vede italiane nelle prime 50. Il Politecnico di Milano è sempre la prima tra le nostre università ma all'83mo posto, seguita al 94 dall'università di Pavia.

Confermate le prime due, e mentre la classifica americana premia al terzo posto l'inglese Cambridge, gli inglesi mettono al 3, 4 e 5 posto tre università americane. Molto quotato il ETH di Zurico, nei top ten di entrambe le classifiche.
